These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pigax.com’s software services, including the Pigax.com website, applications, and all associated features. By using Pigax.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service immediately.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify users at least 10 days before major changes take effect.

1. Definitions

  • “You” / “User” refers to the individual or entity using Pigax.com.
  • “We” / “Pigax” / “Us” refers to Research Link., a company registered in the Netherlands.
  • “Account” means the user registration used to access Pigax.com.
  • “Farm Data” refers to any information entered into the platform, including pig records, financials, medication history, etc.
  • “Third Party”means any external provider not under control of Research Link

2. Services Provided

2.1 Free Access

Pigax offers a free plan that includes basic farm data entry and reporting functionality.

2.2 Paid Plans

Advanced features (e.g., medication tracking, reports, multi-user roles) are available through subscription plans. Pricing details are listed on our Plans & Pricing page.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

3.1 Billing

All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed via trusted providers such as Stripe.

3.2 Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis unless canceled in advance from your Account settings.

3.3 Cancellation & Deletion

You may cancel your plan at any time. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

3.4 Refunds

Refunds are issued only under these conditions:

  • Within 14 days of the initial purchase, if no premium features were used.
  • For duplicate or accidental charges.
  • For technical issues not resolved within 10 business days.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Input illegal or offensive content into the platform
  • Use the service for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes
  • Share login credentials with unapproved users
  • Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions
Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Ensure the accuracy of your farm data
  • Update billing information when needed
  • Comply with local and international data protection laws when entering third-party data (e.g., staff or suppliers)

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including Pigax.com content, branding, and platform code, belongs to Research Link or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or copy any part of the platform without prior written permission.

7. Data Protection

We handle your data in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable privacy laws. Please review our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for details on how we protect your information.

8. Role of Controller and Processor

You are the controller of the data you input into Pigax.com. Pigax acts as your processor, storing and managing your data on secure servers in the EEA, strictly following your instructions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms. Users may also terminate their account at any time via their dashboard.

10. Liability & Disclaimer

Research Link is not liable for:

  • Data loss due to user action or system misuse
  • Temporary downtime or interruptions in service
  • Errors caused by third-party providers
  • Actions or content entered by users
Services are provided “as is” without any warranties unless otherwise required by law.

11. Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance

Pigax complies with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA). To report illegal content or request moderation under the DSA, contact us at:

Automated detection systems may be used to enforce compliance. Users will be informed if enforcement actions are taken against their account under the DSA.

13. Governing Law
